Jody Kear, DDS

Dr. Kear grew up in Mansfield, Ohio as the son of a minister and a teacher. Throughout high school at Mansfield Madison and college at Case-Western Reserve he played soccer and quarterback in football. He went on to finish his dental education in the top ten percent of his class at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.
As a committed lifelong learner, Dr. Kear continues to pursue advanced leadership and clinical training through the Paragon Program and Spear Education where he is a member of the Faculty Club. His goal is to ensure patients throughout the greater Upper Arlington area get the opportunity to experience the best dental technology, techniques, and treatment available.

Dr. Kear is devoted to his wife Sue and their three adult children. He and his wife are very involved in their local church as small group Bible study hosts. They share a passion for helping friends learn to faithfully follow God in a way that demonstrates love to others. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, beekeeping, coffee roasting, and coaching soccer.
Kathy's Story
Doug Ferguson, DDS

Implants, IV sedation and Botox/Xeomin/Dysport.
Dr. Ferguson grew up in the area, playing soccer and tennis at Columbus Centennial High School. He went on to complete his undergraduate and advanced dental school training at The Ohio State University.
He believes in investing significant time and resources in ongoing training and development. Not only does he study regularly through the Paragon Program, but he is also engaged in a dental implant externship through the highly acclaimed Midwest Implant Institute. He enjoys tracking current dental trends and staying on the leading edge of the future of dental treatment.
I *heart* this dental practice! Convenient location, a clean and comfortable office, and a tech-forward approach to patient communication ~ I receive text reminders to my phone prior to appointments, which is so appreciated! Desk staff are friendly and informed, the dental hygienists I've met are all really pleasant and skilled, and Dr. Ferguson is exceptionally perceptive. I cannot recommend Greentree more highly!
Dr. Ferguson is happily married to Jennifer and they have two adopted boys from Ethiopia. As a faith-driven couple, he and his wife lead a home Bible study and regularly travel overseas to help with relief work. He also volunteers his time at a local clinic for people who can’t afford proper dental care.
Liz Sopkovich, DDS

Dr. Sopkovich grew up in Perrysburg, Ohio before heading to The Ohio State University in 2012, where she earned her undergraduate Bachelor of Applied Sciences degree. After graduation, she began her career as a Dental Hygienist serving patients at the Greentree Dental Group. She later went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at TOSU.
With 14 years of experience in dentistry, she loves being a dentist who helps people experience compassionate, patient centered care. She’s also a lifelong learner committed to continuing education and staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry.
She and her husband are passionate about Columbus, spending time with family and friends, staying active, and traveling the world.
Douglas Hinton, DDS
Retired

Dr. Douglas P. Hinton is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. After his graduation he spent two years practicing dentistry in the US Air Force before opening his own practice in 1967. Dr. Hinton is a member of the Columbus Dental Society, the Ohio Dental Association, The American Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, the American Equilibration Society and the McHorris Study Club.
Dr. Hinton enjoys many facets of dentistry ranging from simple restorative work to more complicated implant and TMJ cases. His focus is on quality dentistry for the entire family. Dr. Hinton's practice merged with Greentree Dental Group in June, 2016.
